About Suzanna

I was born to be an artist.

As a very young child, I took oil painting lessons, and would spend hours at a time holed up in my bedroom drawing with soft graphite pencils. In high school, I took watercolor lessons from a private tutor, then left for college to study art at Syracuse University. I eventually earned my BFA. A few years passed, and I briefly pursued a professional career.

As it happens for many people, life took some twists and turns. I set my brushes aside for the better part of 16 years. But throughout that time, my artist’s heart was beating, and my mind and soul were socking away experiences and ideas to fuel future work.

Now I’m back, pursuing my passion.

This is what I was born to do.

Life is short, and I’m going to paint like I’m on fire from now on.
