Below are selected works representing some of the honors Suzanna has earned.
“Sentiment, Asylum Series, No. 1” received 3rd Place at the 4th Annual Allen Whitehill Clowes Collaborative Invitational Exhibition, 2026. Many thanks to judge Shaun Dingwerth for selecting my painting as one of the four award winners, and to the Hoosier Art Salon and Herron School of Art for hosting this year’s exhibition.
“Daydream, Asylum Series, no. 2” was awarded 2nd place in the 49th International Watermedia Exhibition (IWE), 2026. My sincerest appreciation to judge and juror Don Andrews and the Watercolor Art Society of Houston for including my work in this important exhibition and for appreciating my voice. About this piece: I was exploring the abandoned areas of the Randolph County Infirmary, and stumbled onto this space with an empty wheelchair. Just beyond the glass, a fire escape hints at movement and freedom—an unreachable threshold for someone once bound to this daily view.
"Treasure Trove" will be a part of the 56th Louisiana Watercolor Society International Exhibition, 2026. Sincerest gratitude to juror Matthew Bird for selecting my painting for this important exhibition. This piece was also included in the Missouri Watercolor Society's 2025 International Juried and Judged Exhibition at Saks Fifth Avenue Gallery in Frontenac, MO, and was juried into the 2025 101st Annual Hoosier Art Salon.

"Girls' Day Out" was juried into the 80th Annual Wabash Valley Regional Exhibition, a six state exhibition hosted by the Swope Art Museum, 2024.
"Rock Steady" was juried into the 100th Annual Hoosier Salon Exhibition, Indiana State Museum in 2024, where it sold to the Tri Kappa sorority for their permanent collection at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
"Crisp Morning Air" was juried into the 20th Annual International Exhibition of Animals in Art, Louisiana State University.
"Heads or Tails?" was juried into the 2006 Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society's National Exhibition
"That Doggie in the Window" is one of 34 of Suzanna's works that displayed in a special exhibition for Rose-Hulman's 2024 fall semester, celebrating the 26th year in a row Rose-Hulman was selected as the #1 undergraduate engineering school in the nation.
